Akpi is at it again, and the streets of Nigerian X are completely on fire! If you thought the internet was going to have a quiet week, our favourite controversial content creator and self-acclaimed mobile phone philosopher, Speed Darlington, has returned with premium Speed Darlington ex manager drama that has left netizens gasping for air.
The internet woke up to heavy cyber chaos after the ‘Bang Bae’ crooner took to social media to publicly fire his manager in the most dramatic fashion possible. Known for never biting his tongue, Akpi dragged his former management team through the mud, questioning their competence, loyalty, and actual contributions to his glittering (yet chaotic) career.
Inside The Messy Managerial Showdown That Broke The Internet
According to circulating receipts and fiery rants dropped by the controversial singer, things had been brewing behind the scenes for months. Speed Darlington made it clear that he wasn’t going to be tied down by anyone trying to ‘manage’ his raw, unfiltered brand. ‘You cannot manage a mobile president!’ he screamed in one of his viral video rants, accusing the ex-manager of trying to dictate his moves and hijacking business opportunities.
The fierce fallout has instantly split social media into two aggressive factions. While some netizens are hailing Akpi for protecting his bag and speaking his truth, industry insiders and entertainment buffs are slamming his erratic approach to business management. ‘How will a brand ever work with him long-term with this kind of energy?’ one concerned Twitter user tweeted, racking up thousands of retweets within minutes.
