Wahala has officially landed in the Nigerian entertainment industry, and it is coming straight from the trenches of street-pop and viral social media cruise! If you thought you had seen it all on Nigerian X (formerly Twitter), think again, because Speed Darlington has managed to ruffle yet another feather—and this time, it is singer Slimjoe who is boiling with unfiltered rage.
The internet woke up to major chaos after Speed Darlington dropped one of his signature controversial warnings directed at fellow singer Slimjoe. True to his unpredictable character, Akpi did not mince words as he came for Slimjoe’s career and recent moves. But if Akpi thought he was just dropping cruise for clout, he met his match!
Slimjoe Fires Back With Bloody Threats
Stepping out of character from his usual cool demeanor, Slimjoe took zero prisoners. Fired up by the disrespect, the ‘Oti Yanyan’ crooner threw caution to the wind and issued a spine-chilling ultimatum: “If I see you, I will beat you!”
Fans across the country are currently divided, with some begging the duo to turn the beef into a celebrity boxing match, while others are hiding under their duvets waiting to see how Akpi will react to the physical threat. Knowing Speed Darlington, he is definitely going to drop a 15-minute Instagram rant analyzing why physical combat is out of style in 2026!
Nigerian X Reacts To The Latest Industry Drama
As expected, Nigerian X has turned the whole situation into premium cruise and memes. Netizens are already dragging both artists, wondering why veteran musicians are choosing violence instead of dropping hit tracks.
Will Slimjoe actually lay hands on Akpi if they cross paths in Lagos? Or is this just another cheap publicity stunt to trend on the TL? Stay tuned to our gist corner as we bring you real-time updates as this messy drama unfolds!
