Wahala dey! The internet is currently running on premium octane fuel after social media critic Daniel Regha stepped out to drag controversial activist VeryDarkMan (VDM) over a jaw-dropping ₦50 million school mural project.
If you thought the timeline was going to take a break from drama, think again! The self-acclaimed fashion and lifestyle critic took to X (formerly Twitter) to question the logic behind plastering VDM’s face all over a renovated school environment.
Why Is His Picture All Over The School? Daniel Regha Questions VDM’s Motives
The whole drama started when clips and photos emerged online showing massive murals of VeryDarkMan painted across the walls of a school following a recent philanthropic intervention. While many fans praised the gesture, Daniel Regha wasn’t having any of it.
Taking to his official handle, Regha dropped a hot take that instantly set the timeline on fire:
“Donating to a school or renovating a facility is a great move, but why is VDM’s picture all over the school walls? Is it charity or self-branding? Philanthropy shouldn’t be about ego or turning educational spaces into a personal billboard. Make it make sense!”
As expected, Nigerian X divided into two fierce factions. Team VDM argued that he funded the project and has every right to brand it however he pleases, while critics backed Regha, pointing out that public institutions shouldn’t be converted into shrines for individual influencers.
Social Media Reacts As The Beef Heats Up
The online community has refused to let the matter slide. Netizens have been digging up old posts, trading insults, and turning the Daniel Regha VDM clash into the number one trending topic of the week.
Will VeryDarkMan fire back with one of his trademark raw video rants? Or will he maintain a coded silence? One thing is certain: when Naija influencers clash, the popcorn must be popped! Stay tuned to this channel as we bring you real-time updates on this unfolding street and social media saga.
